Our Mission

The Evan Shaw Accessibility Foundation is dedicated to creating a more accessible future.

Based in Calgary, Alberta, we are a non-profit foundation that aims to provide accessibility solutions for community members with mobility issues, such as persons with disabilities, injuries, or seniors aging-in-place. We install and service vertical solutions to help those in need overcome environmental barriers in private homes and public-use spaces.

We are committed to providing exceptional service through funding, equipment procurement, installation, and maintenance. We are proud to be partnered with the International Union of Elevator Constructors, Local 130, whose members have graciously donated their time and skill, allowing for lower costs and greater expertise. Paired with our donors’ contributions, we can work to eliminate the physical and financial barriers faced by members of our community.
